THE HISTORY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE
In San Miguel de Allende, the Barrio del Chorro is one of its most emblematic corners. Surrounded by nature and history, this place marks the origin of the city: according to legend, it was here that Friar Juan de San Miguel discovered a spring. In 1802, with the installation of the first pipes, it received the name “El Chorro”. Casa Chorro, built around that spring, is a refuge of history, magic, and romance. Its walls, gardens, and stones seem to stop time, breathing the charm of centuries. Celebrating our wedding at Casa Chorro is more than an event: it is an encounter with the foundational soul of San Miguel. Here, where it all began, love is reborn among bells, fiery skies, and the eternal murmur of water. Because in Casa Chorro, love and San Miguel share deep roots and an enduring spirit.
